Shin's Cancer Blog

I was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in December 2005. I spent 2006 getting surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. In August 2007, my cancer came back. In February 2008, I learned the cancer had spread to my brain, liver, lungs, and bones. I live in Singapore with my husband Tony, daughter Josie (born Feb. 2003), and son Toby (born July 2005). Drains Removed!

Remaining two drains removed, plus 25 ml. of fluid from right side. I had three drains total after surgery - one on left and two on right (the extra one for where the lymph nodes were removed under my arm). The lymph node one was removed when I left the hospital.
