I really liked this poem from Ali Kati. Shin loved words and I'm sure would have appreciated these.

Tony, we do support as much as we support you and Josie and Toby. I am sure you are a great husband to Shin and will be as great father to Josie and Toby which Shin has entrusted to you. Hope you will be strong and do allow yourself a period of grief but stay strong, ok?

Hi Tony

I am so sad to here about Shin's passing. Trust me I know how you fee right now. I lost my daughter to cancer and its a tough road we follow. Here is a poem I read at my daughters funeral that I hope you might appreciate

I am so sorry about your wife/mother. We lost our mom to this beast 10/8/2008. She had her cancer in pretty much every place Shin did. When first diagnosed, she did NOT have it in the lymph nodes or anything. He shoulder started hurting, and that is the part of the bone she had it in. She was diagnosed with it in her liver, lungs, shoulder, and hip.
A year later the brain (5 spots, 2 size of dimes, 2 quarters). We lost her a month later after they did a gamma knife procedure to try to reduce the brain tumors. We know she is in a better place, however every day is a struggle and memories are sometimes hard...because they make us sad. Best of luck to you and your children and all she leaves behind-The suffering, which was the worst part, is over and she is at peace. Paula in Minnesota

Im truly very sad to know that Shin has passed on. She has been really wonderful and a strong lady right to the very last hours.

I prayed that all her friends and families will continue to be strong.

Reading your mom's blog makes me (and some of my friends that read her blog too)want to do more with our lives. As you will eventually read and find out, that she loves the family dearly and has prepared 'future parenting' materials. So at any point in life, when you feel lost, when you feel the urge to give up or simply when you are unsure of the road ahead, think of what mom would do.

Hi Tony, I am sure Shin feels very lucky and no regrets to marry to you and without you (and the kids), her life may not be as happy as she would be. You can "transfer" (or spread) your love for Shin not only to Josie and Toby but also all those who in need, just like the way Shin does and never stop giving and spreading her love and concern and help till the last moments and even after her death! Her live may be short but she has done more than most would in their entire (long) lives and she has and will continue to impact positively in many (cyberly) and in reality (through her donating of her body,etc)...Josie and Toby, do remember that though your mother is not with you all but she has left a lot of "assets" to you and all of us and hope that when you all grow up, both of you can inherit what your mother (&father) loving and caring nature and spread your love to others too. Your mother is a very genuine and caring and brave and positive and .......the list goes on....:)
